The name of the famous Yugoslavian playwright - Branislav Nushich – guarantees an original plot, unexpected intrigue, and profound representation of human nature. His time-tested plays are saturated with naughty and mild humor.
… The matter of honour of Zivota Cvijovic, a businessman who has recently grown rich, is PhD diploma that his son took at the most prestigious Swiss university.
Nothing can prevent Zivota from winning public recognition, stealing into the society and even getting the girl as a daughter-in-law, whose father is the minister of railroads, together with kilometers-of-railways dowry.
Nevertheless, his grandiose plans were not to come true. The dishonestly acquired diploma caused such a violent whirl of passions and events that a catastrophe seemed inevitable.
Only sincere feelings and love of the family and friends rescued Zivota and persuaded him to give up his preposterous and ambitious itch for getting into high society.
